The Clouds Set A is the first of a series of cloud preset collections. It contains 50 ready to use Artmatic files. The type of Artmatic clouds they generate is named Scalar Clouds* (Scalar means single value).
They can generate up to 2 layers.

Layer 2 generates
clouds higher up in the sky and is well suited for
non shaded clouds like Cirrus. They interact with the
sun in a more subtle way.
The Clouds Set A
consists of 50 cloud files along with a AM Voyager
file which serves an an example or starting point. In
addition you will get a library of cloud types packed
into CTs (compiled trees). Along with those files you
will get an easy to follow description of how to
handle those files and how to do simple edits for
those who wish to do so.
The structures themselves are well organized to avoid any unnecessary confusion.

Layer 1 interacts
closely with the Voyager sun. For exmple the shading
of the clouds is shifted according to the sun`s
position. Or they take the color of the sun.

it possible to have more than 2 layers of
clouds
The clouds in all files
are linked to time. This means that when you move the
Timeline slider in AMV, the clouds will move. Some
even change their shape while moving. This way you
will get a great amount of sky variation for an
existing scene.
